One of our top clients located in Virginia, a well established industry leader in the commercial electrical contracting realm is expanding in their Richmond branch and looking for top notch talent with strong expertise in estimating large scale electrical systems in large scale commercial facilities on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15 Million in value.

 

The right individual should be comfortable with both hard bid and negotiated project work, know and understand their ratios and closing percentages, as well as the "strategic" side of estimating and approaching a bid, and be able to perform hard take offs from drawings as well.  This needs to be an individual who prides themselves on their quality of workmanship and wants to be on a winning team with an excellent reputation in the industry.

 

The right fit will also be able to effectively represent the organization at pre-construction meetings, and interact well with vendors, getting out RFQ’s, managing a solid volume of ongoing work at one point, handling all change orders, and have an accurate understanding of deadlines, construction schedules and man-hours that go into these types of projects.
