REQUIREMENTS:

 

Strong Construction Management background - ability to manage and schedule large groups of people and work well with all levels of personnel- this person will be responsible for running 10-12 field crews on paving projects, as well as have 2 assistants and a dozen foreman reporting back to them, and oversee all field operations to correspond with contract deadlines and budgets.

 

Experience with projects ranging from $100,000 to $100 Million in value.

 

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, PE a strong plus- but not an absolute requirement.  Background with paving & asphalt projects is strongly preferred as well- however for an exceptional leader and manager of field operations- their history could be in another area of the construction field

 

Strong leadership & organizational management capabilities- This individual needs to understand and enforce high standards for safety, quality, and timeliness - and be able to motivate field crews to achieve these standards- which also requires exceptional communications abilities to interact well at all levels- and a proven history of profitability on projects, as well as a demonstrated clean track record on the safety side- with references to support this
