The Richmond Group USA has been engaged by one of the construction industry’s leading full service metal fabricating companies to identify a talented Senior Project Manager for an exceptional career opportunity in Alabama.  Our client utilizes its construction division to give their clients a “Single Source Solution” to their industrial construction requirements and their core values are safety, quality, productivity, and customer responsiveness. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: 

 

• Overseeing multiple large-scale industrial projects
• Maintaining budgets on-time and ahead of schedule
• Overseeing subcontractors
• Consistent awareness of projects’ timelines
• Maintaining OSHA safety standards
• Growing your department and participation with strategic planning for the company overall
• Dealing with contractors

 

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

 

• 7+ years experience in any or all of the following: Industrial Construction, construction of Manufacturing Plants, Structural Steel, Ground-Up Construction, or Energy Construction Projects (all on contractor side)

 

• Large-Scale project management experience

 

• Multi-million dollar project experience and a proven track record of successful project management experience

 

• LEED certification, experience in greenfield construction, green building experience, or environmental/energy efficient construction experience are all a MAJOR PLUS

 

• Ability to work with little or no direct supervision at sites.  Exercise sound judgment in making business decisions
