Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing full service site development contractor, is actively seeking qualified candidates for the role of SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER for their Richmond, Virginia location.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Civil Engineering Degree; P.E. is not required- however is a strong plus

 

Ability to have typically 2-3 larger projects running at one point, as well as some smaller ones

 

Experience in commercial projects- to involve excavation, site prep, (clearing & grading), underground piping & utilities for storm & sanitary lines, estimating & pre-construction management on negotiated projects with existing clients and the ability to develop new relationships and participate heavily with bringing in new work (this person may also get involved in some municipality work, however there is a much larger focus on commercial)

 

The right personality and culture fit will be an intelligent, strong willed and self motivated individual with a "whatever it takes" mindset, who enjoys a fast paced environment, and has enough flexibility to adjust to the workload and day to day changes on the job as necessary.

 

Solid communications, business development, presentation skills and negotiating abilities - enjoyment of interfacing with new and existing clients, bringing in and selling new work, negotiating contracts and pre-construction meetings, and the ability to interact well with all levels of personnel
